The statement also acknowledged her contributions as Chairperson of the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development during the 9th Assembly, as well as her role as Deputy Chief Whip in the current 10th Assembly.

On behalf of the Federal Government, President Tinubu extended his heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, the government, and the people of Ogun State, particularly her constituents.
