 Annie Idibia Opens Up About Miscarriage During Reality Show

Annie Idibia, the wife of renowned Nigerian artist 2Baba, has shared a deeply personal revelation about experiencing a miscarriage last year.

In a recent episode of the reality TV series Young, Famous, and African, Annie discussed the emotional toll of losing a pregnancy, particularly the twins she was expecting. Despite already being a mother of two, she expressed how challenging the loss was for her.

She further revealed that it was difficult for her to talk about the miscarriage, as she felt uncomfortable sharing her pain with others. Only her husband, Innocent (2Baba), and her mother were aware of the tragic loss.

“I was not coming out enough the whole of last year. Even in the group, I was pregnant with twins, but I had a miscarriage. It was hard. I wish I had someone to share that with in the group. I lost the babies, and it was tough,” she said.

Annie also admitted that she wasn’t sure whether she could confide in her friends, explaining that the loss was something she kept mostly private.

Season 3 of Young, Famous, and African premiered on Netflix on January 17.
