Portable Calls Out Davido, Accuses Him of Giving Misleading Advice
Controversial street-hop artist Portable has accused Afrobeat superstar Davido of misleading him with advice and living a “fake life.”
In a recent video, Portable claimed that during a visit to Atlanta, Davido advised him against signing with Sony Music, instead recommending Empire Records, where artists like Asake are signed.
However, Portable later discovered that Davido himself is signed to Sony Music and benefits financially from the deal.
Portable’s Claims Against Davido
Portable also alleged that Davido exaggerated the value of a luxury watch, claiming it was worth $100 million, while its actual price was $30,000.
He said:
*“You gave me bad advice in Atlanta. Did you pay for my flight? You told me not to go to Sony but to join Empire, saying Asake is there. This is what Davido said.
“I shared the advice with my promoter, only to find out that Davido is with Sony and getting paid well.”*
Portable further accused Davido of living a deceptive lifestyle, stating:
“Fake love, fake life. You’ll buy a chain for $30,000 and claim it’s worth $100 million. Your fake life and fake love will harm you. Big Wizzy, God bless you.”
Ongoing Feud
This isn’t the first time Portable has been involved in public disputes with fellow artists. His latest remarks have sparked online discussions, with fans reacting to the ongoing drama between him and Davido.
