Trevor Noah Returns as Host for 2025 Grammy Awards
South African comedian Trevor Noah is set to return as the host of the 2025 Grammy Awards, marking his fifth consecutive year in the role.
The Recording Academy officially announced his return on Tuesday, confirming that Noah will once again take center stage for Music’s Biggest Night.
“@TrevorNoah is set to take us into Music’s Biggest Night to honor music and amplify support for the music community impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires,” the Recording Academy shared on social media.
Grammys to Support Wildfire Relief Efforts
The 67th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This year’s ceremony carries a renewed sense of purpose following the devastating Los Angeles wildfires that occurred in early January.
The Academy revealed that the event will also serve as a platform to raise funds for wildfire relief efforts and recognize first responders who battled the flames.
Top Nominees for 2025
Among the leading nominees for this year’s Grammy Awards is Beyoncé, who secured 11 nominations for her venture into country music with the album Cowboy Carter, released on March 29, 2024.
Other top contenders include:
• Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone – each with seven nominations
• Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Taylor Swift – each earning six nominations
Previous Grammy Highlights
Last year’s ceremony, also hosted by Noah, saw Taylor Swift win Album of the Year for Midnights, while Victoria Monét was crowned Best New Artist. The event featured performances from music legends like Joni Mitchell and Dua Lipa.
