Bobrisky Calls EFCC “The Most Wicked Organisation in Nigeria”
Popular Nigerian transgender personality, Bobrisky, has strongly criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), labeling it the “most wicked organisation” in the country.
Bobrisky’s remarks came in response to the EFCC’s appeal for public empathy following the tragic death of one of its officers, who was fatally shot during a night raid in Anambra State.
Bobrisky Accuses EFCC of Hypocrisy
Taking to Instagram Stories on Monday, Bobrisky expressed frustration with the anti-graft agency, accusing it of lacking compassion while expecting sympathy from Nigerians.
“I can’t stand reading anything about the EFCC online because it makes me feel like throwing up,” Bobrisky stated.
He further questioned the commission’s sincerity:
“You want the public to be humane over the loss of your staff, but you are the most heartless people in Nigeria.”
Recalling a personal experience with the agency, Bobrisky alleged that during a past encounter with the EFCC, officials raided his home, citing suspicions of money laundering:
“When I was in your custody, you took me to my house and conducted a search. When I asked why, you claimed I was involved in money laundering and wanted to check if I was printing money at home.”
Bobrisky concluded by comparing the EFCC to the Nigerian police, asserting that the latter is “100% better” than the anti-corruption agency.
