Justin Baldoni’s Legal Team Dismisses Blake Lively’s “Preposterous” Allegations
Justin Baldoni’s legal team has fired back at Blake Lively’s claim that he employed the “abuser playbook” while filing his $400 million lawsuit against her and Ryan Reynolds.
In a statement to Deadline, Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, strongly criticized Lively’s remarks, arguing that she was unfairly attempting to tarnish the actor’s reputation.
“The mere fact that Ms. Lively feels she can publicly destroy Mr. Baldoni’s reputation in an attempt to derail his future career, while simultaneously denying him and his team the right to defend themselves, is preposterous,” Freedman stated.
He further asserted that Baldoni had never publicly accused Lively of any misconduct during their time working together.
The legal dispute has drawn significant attention, with both parties standing firm on their claims. Baldoni, best known for his role in “Jane the Virgin”, has maintained that his lawsuit is justified, while Lively has strongly opposed his allegations.
