US immigration policy: God’ll take your govt – Pastor Giwa warns Trump

Pastor Warns Trump Against Mass Deportation of Immigrants

Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has issued a cautionary message to United States President Donald Trump regarding his proposed policy on deporting illegal immigrants.

In a statement, Pastor Giwa claimed that God had warned that if Trump proceeds with the mass deportation, his administration would be taken from him and handed over to an unlikely successor. He recounted his earlier prophecy predicting Trump’s victory as the 47th president of the United States and urged him to govern with divine guidance.

The clergyman also praised Trump for his stance against transgender policies, urging him to ensure that individuals involved in such practices are not included in his administration.

“Let me take this opportunity to congratulate President Donald Trump on his re-election. God has returned you to the White House to guide the American people back to Him. I commend your firm stand on rejecting transgender policies, and I encourage you to ensure that no one in your administration is involved in such practices,” Giwa stated.

He further warned Trump to reconsider any plans for mass deportation, emphasizing that influential figures within his government might pressure him to take such actions. However, he insisted that God has instructed him to relay a divine warning.

“The Lord has spoken: if you proceed with the deportation of illegal immigrants, your government will be taken away and handed to someone least expected. You must resist pressure from those urging you to pursue this policy. We were once victims, Mr. President, including you. You may go after criminals, but do not punish innocent individuals who are working hard to provide for their families,” he added.

Pastor Giwa also called on Trump to review his executive order blocking birthright citizenship, reminding him that he and his family had benefitted from similar policies in the past.

“The world admires you, and I urge you to lead with wisdom and compassion. Do not govern with anger. Set aside past grievances and be a God-fearing leader who will serve as an example for future presidents,” he advised.

Trump’s proposed immigration policy has been a subject of intense debate, with critics arguing that it could lead to widespread displacement and economic disruptions.
